DOG TRAINING CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Small Sized Group Dog Training Classes:
The small sized group classes of Idaho Canine College teaches your dog two primary rules: do not put tension on my lead, (no pulling, lunging . . .), and teeth and claws to yourself (no biting, scratching, jumping, licking etc.), in order to bring harmony between your dog, family and home. Each dog obedience training classes are limited to only 10 partnerships. This ensures both the dog and dog-owner get the attention and focus they need. Each dog obedience class is six weeks long, and each session lasts approximately one hour. In this dog training class you will be taught how to establish and enforce the rules of your household so that you may live harmoniously with your canine.
Private Dog Training lessons:
Private training lessons are lessons in which Idaho Canine College comes to you. You and your dog have the exclusive attention of a trainer. Idaho Canine College will address your specific dog training problems, whatever they may be, and give advice for immediate relief of your biggest complaint. Each dog training session lasts approximately two hours and is done in your home. Private lessons are best suited for those with dogs with extreme behavior problems and dog-owners with a busy schedule not compatible with a group class-training schedule. Private lessons are designed to swiftly correct bad dog behaviors and bring harmony between your dog and household.
Boarding and Training Dogs:
Board and Train gives you the option of having your dog trained outside your home by professionals for an extended period of time. This particular type of dog training is followed up with a private lesson to teach you and your family about how your dog will now behave. This is a wonderful option for those who have already had difficulty training the dog themselves or who are an exceptionally busy household that may not have the time to properly train a dog. You do not have to do the training, only the maintenance of the easy-to-follow rules. The length of your dog's stay varies with the extent of the behavioral issues to be addressed and corrected.
Hands free remote training for Dogs:
Remote training is for those who wish to be able to have their dog off lead. The remote training gives you and your dog freedom from a leash while still allowing for control in any unforeseen situation. It is ideal for families who spend time in the wilderness and for those simply visiting the park for a game of fetch. Remote training gives you the ultimate control of your dog without the hassle of a leash. This dog training can be done in either private lessons or board and train options.
